There's a fire in the forest There's fire in the forest It burned down dead trees And bushes and dry leaves Animals had to run Away from the heat From the fire Or someplace higher Or they become burnt meat When the fire is over New trees grew And the animals came back For the forest is new Trees, bushes, sun All is well Until men came with guns They killed the animals And cleared the forest Animals died Trees were cut Forests died Men, - they lied It is mad Men are bad Children will be sad Of the wonderful things they never had. 1 September 2013
